The mouse is a very common computer input devices. It used to move the cursor on the screen. At present, the mouse can not operate this environment in some places, must have a reference plane for the operation.

The accelerometer can detect acceleration in space. We use it to detect the mouse movements, and solve the problem of reference plane. In this paper, we used the IEEE 802.15.4 (The IEEE 802.15.4 is a short distance and low transmission rate and low-power wireless personal networking.) technique and the accelerometer to implement a wireless 3D mouse.

Our research methodology is the analysis of accelerometer character, and understood the movement in the space finds out relation between the accelerometer and the movement. Finally, we implement a wireless 3D mouse without a desktop environment.
