    Abstract: 書法是古老且優美的傳統東方書寫文化,在文件普遍數位化的影響下應用空間不斷縮減,使得東方的年輕學子逐漸放棄學習與使用這種寶貴的傳統書寫技巧。本文提出一套數位書法系統,使用者能輕易透過家中電腦進行書法的練習與創作。透過這個系統的實現,書法可以與數位環境無縫接合,借助數位化所帶來的眾多便利性,擴展全新的應用空間。本系統分為手寫輸入、即時筆觸運算與筆跡輸出三大模組,本文將一一介紹這些模組的運作原理與實作結果。最後比對各種楷書筆法在本系統下的輸出結果,以及評估本系統是否能在平價電腦設備下完成即時運作。
    Calligraphy is a kind of traditional and beautiful oriental culture. However, with the prevalence of digitization of documents, oriental students gradually give up learning this traditional hand-writing skill. In order to remedy this situation, we propose a digital calligraphy system such that students can easily use personal computers to carry on the creation and exercise of calligraphy. Thus, based on our system, traditional calligraphy can have brand new applications. In this paper, we will first show the basic principles and implementation of our proposed system. Then, we will demonstrate the results of various writing techniques of the regular script (楷書) of our system. Finally, we will also show that our system can be executed in real-time on general and cheap personal computers.
