科技日新月異，許多可攜式電子設備如個人數位助理(PDA)、智慧型手機(Smartphone)及掌上型電腦(Pocket PC)等行動設備，已經成為許多人生活與工作無法缺少的工具；又因為無線網路存取技術迅速地演進，應用於網際網路上的瀏灠速度及成本也為一般大眾所接受，人們使用行動設備無線上網的機會及比率也正在逐漸成長。但大部份企業的線上交易及入口網站在早年皆是以８００ｘ６００像素的螢幕解析度來設計，所以當行動設備在ｗｗｗ網際網路上瀏覽時可能會因為螢幕像素較小、框架設計及記憶體限制等，而無法如同一般個人電腦完整呈現原畫面。 為解決前言所描述的問題，除了在行動設備端的應用軟體可針對網頁內容進行轉換，企業端為了要讓行動設備瀏覽相關網頁，亦需針對行動裝置再重新設計新的網頁，或是透過較低成本之方式將現有網頁轉換成適合行動裝置的網頁內容。因此本研究以企業端網頁之設計與改善為主要研究目的。其一乃是解決大部份交易網站因大量使用框架而造成行動設備的瀏覽問題，在儘可能減少網頁設計人員複雜開發下，能讓行動裝置呈現完整資訊。其二是採用W3C建議將原HTML轉換成XHTML為目的，進行測試一個自動轉換動態網頁為XHTML網頁工具並記錄相關測試細節及數據。 Using mobile device to access Internet is getting popular these days. However, many portals cannot completely support the mobile device for small screen browsing. There are many factors, such as font size, image size, frame support, etc, that will cause problem for small screen device.To address the problem described above, client application software of mobile devices can be used to convert web pages for small screen. A second solution is to design the web site to accommodate for small screen. Therefore the enterprise web design and improvement are the main purpose of this study. The browsing issue on the majority of web sites is due to a large number of transactions arise from the use of the framework of mobile devices browser. The solution is to minimize the complexity of the development of web designers, and allowing a mobile device viewing every information on the web page.The second purpose is to follow up the recommendations of W3C that suggests conversion HTML to XHTML, and this study shall test an automatic conversion tool of XHTML for the dynamic web pages.
