數位電視發展至今，不再只是單純的接收電視節目而已，其互動式服務不僅是數位電視的核心，也是數位電視產業最龐大、最具有商機的領域。多媒體家用平台(MHP)即是歐洲DVB組織針對數位電視未來之應用及發展所擬定之互動式服務標準。 遠距教學的特點在於不受限於傳統面對面授課方式中固定時間、地點的限制，可以隨時隨地透過網路及不同的課程瀏覽裝置進行互動式教學，而電視比起個人電腦或其他的行動裝置來說亦是最普遍的家庭設備。 本篇論文的主要目的即是在以多媒體家用平台為基礎的數位電視機上盒(STB)上發展可瀏覽SCORM學習教材的平台。 The Digital TV is developed so far, now it’s not only can receive the TV program, but also support interactive services. Those services are the core of digital TV and the largest area of industry of TV which are rich in the business opportunity. MHP(Multimedia Home Platform) is the standard of interactive service which designed by Digital Video Broadcasting consortium and using on developing Digital TV. The characteristic of distance learning lies in learning any where and any time. It can proceed with interactive teaching by using network and different browsing device. And the TV is also the most general family equipment compared with the PC or other mobile devices. The main purpose of this paper is developing MHP based digital TV STB (SetTopBox) platform supporting SCORM material.
