What the research concerns about the most in this research is what looks like when ‘love’ enter academic writing. We propose to analyze what writing ways researchers adopt to construct the reality of academic writing. This research applies the concept of collective interaction to analyze academic writing. As a result, we choose dissertations of social sciences disciplines to analyze the linguistic mechanism of those dissertations. The main purpose of this study is to analyze how the researcher positions himself and his dissertation to be accepted by the academic community and concern what love knowledge the researcher constructs.

This study emphasizes on three sections in the dissertations:First, we analyze research questions. Second, we analyze the tradition of discipline(the adoption of theory and method).Third, we analyze the identity construction of the researcher. The research distinguishes three writing positions, including writing, as a social improvement, writing, as an objective exploration, writing, as a humane concern.

This study examine three positions to distinguish the process of academic writing as a collective interaction .According to the result, the production of love knowledge infers that the academic writing covers ground power operation. We can not neglect the force the knowledge of academic writing.
