本研究透過系統評估與比較相關的wiki系統，探討wiki 引擎技術，以作為Wiki系統建置之參考；並以個案研究了解維基百科如何提升社群成員的參與程度與如何整合成員所撰寫的內容並進行知識共享，除個案研究法外，輔以比較研究法與網路問卷調查等方式獲得研究資料，撰寫其研究結果，以得知wiki社群應如何達到健全發展目標，並藉此做為虛擬社群經營的參考依據。 The birth of the internet has brought us rapid information circulation which has expanded geographical boundaries of the world. Information penetrates into our daily lives by different forms. With the transformation of digital techniques, knowledge and information are circulated quickly and recombined easily at the same time.
Wiki technology comes from the extension of information organizing technologies. It formally was used to arranging information. With its open cooperation characteristics, it has produced new usages in the past few years.
The Wikipedia is a Wiki site founded based on this feature. It started as a propotype mini site, and developed into a community. The participants are individuals who are interested in writing, and now have developed into a mass scale of a Wiki community.
This study is to understand how to promote contribution of the community members of the Wikipedia, how to integrate what the members write and then share the knowledge that has been written and study related Wiki system techniques. In addition to case study, this study adopts comparative research method and web questionnaire survey to get data.
The result not only helps us to know how Wiki community obtains their objective, but also contributes to participants manage virtual community successfully.
