    Abstract: 本研究除綜合國內外學者的觀念主張，亦加入本人在實務界中所累積的經驗。茲將台灣連接器公司的核心能力及經營績效逐一整理歸納，並且對該產業過去發展歷程作一說明。針對台灣電子連接器產業現況，利用SWOT、五力分析等策略分析方法，找出台灣電子連接器產業之核心競爭能力，歸納出整體產業特性，並描述未來發展方向。
    企業核心發展能力的建立不但可提高企業對環境的適應力，透過良好的策略佈局更可帶給企業可觀且亮麗的整體獲利。本研究由總體環境與產業環境分析，找出環境的各項構面之重要影響因素，進而推論連接器產業發展之關鍵成功因素所要努力的方向。本研究結論認為台灣連接器公司未來要能夠成功發展，必須發展下列核心能力因素：
    1.彈性的定價策略及建立顧客關係管理制度。
    2.領先的設計能力及快速開發新產品能力。
    3.會持續改進產品的功能。
    4.有完善的生產管理系統制度及品質管控能力。
    5.透過健全的預算制度來建立營運目標與策略規劃的能力。
    6.具有不斷開發國際市場的能力。
    The study synthesizes the domestic and foreign scholars’ advocates and proposed theories as well as the researcher’s personal practical experience to induce and summarize Taiwanese connector companies’ core abilities and their management performances. Besides, the development history of Taiwanese connector’s industry will be discussed. SWOT, Porter''s 5 Forces Analysis will be applied in the study to investigate the core competitive abilities, collect the overall industry features and to characterize the future directions of Taiwanese connector industry.
    The establishment of core development competency contributes to an industry’s adaptive ability. In addition, through the successful strategic employment, an industry’s overall profits could be considerably increased.
    Several key success factors for the connector industry development are identified through the systematic analysis of macro and industrial environment.
    Based on the results, the study suggests that, successful Taiwanese connector industries should develop the following core abilities:
    1.Flexible pricing strategies and the establishment of customer’s relationship management.
    2.The lead design ability and the rapid product development capability
    3.Constantly improving.
    4.The impeccable production management system and a good quality control ability.
    5.Building up the business goal and strategic planning ability through a well organized budget-management system.
    6.The ability of continual development in international market.
