本論文針對「台灣金融業與外商合作模式之探討」這個主題,有兩項主要研究:其一為量化研究,運用統計問卷調查,瞭解台灣金融從業人員對台灣金融業與外商合作的認知、意願與態度;其二為質化研究,從現有已知台灣金融機構與外商合作案例資料,整理分析,瞭解各種模式間之差異性與優勢/機會、劣勢/威脅。研究發現,從台灣金融從業人員對台灣金融業與外商合作的認知、意願與態度問卷調查,經實證解釋與分析結果概要為:1.台灣金融從業人員對台灣金融業國際化及與外商合作策略認知方面:台灣金融從業人員大都同意,台灣金融業與外商合作可提升國際競爭力及經營績效;外商化解南韓金融風暴的功能,可複製於台灣;台灣金融機構有赴中國大陸設立分行的必要,且持審慎樂觀的態度。2.關於台灣金融機構與外商合作較佳模式方面:受訪者贊同策略聯盟最高(佔64.6%)。3.至於台灣金融從業人員對所服務之金融機構與外商合作的意願方面:研究結果顯示贊成者高達74.5%。另一方面發現,台灣金融業與外商合作的四種模式〈併購、合資、策略聯盟、私募〉,每種模式有其優勢/機會、劣勢/威脅,業者應視本身主、客觀條件,慎選與外商合作之模式。本研究認為本文之結論,應可提供政府及業者之參考。 This thesis aims to study the collaboration models between Taiwan’s financial service firms & foreigners, which used two main methods, quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative method, statistic questionnaire survey, is designed to explore the recognition, willingness and attitude Of Taiwan’s financial workers about the collaboration models between local firms and foreigners. The qualitative method, case study, is offered to find out the difference& the strengths/ opportunities or weaknesses/threats among alternative models. This research makes the following main conclusions as reference for government and financial service industry. Firstly, most of financial workers in Taiwan agree that the collaboration between local firms and foreigners is good for international competitiveness & management performance of Taiwan’s financial service industry. Secondly, as for collaboration models are concerned, the interviewee favored for strategic alliance most(64.6%).Thirdly, about the willingness of collaboration, the interviewee approved with 74.5%. In addition, there are vary strengths/ opportunities or weaknesses/threats among collaboration models. Hence, corporate management should choose cautiously right model evaluating resources and environment.
