    摘要: 本篇文章主要探討以草醯肼、鄰苯二甲醯肼及間苯二甲醯肼為基本架構,側邊接上以醯肼基為官能基之不同碳鏈數目的衍生物,合成出具有氫鍵H - bonded donor及acceptor的配位子分別為1CnBzOHz、2CnBzOHz、2CnBzIHz 和 2CnBzTHz。
    利用核磁共振光譜(NMR)對結構做初步的鑑定,再以元素分析(EA)來探討純度。液晶相探討部分,以偏光顯微鏡(POM)對不同相之溫度變化及液晶相種類做初步觀察,再以熱差式掃描分析儀(DSC)測量相變化溫度及熱焓值變化,最後以x-ray粉末繞射儀(XRD)來鑑定液晶相的排列,得知化合物2CnBzOHz、2CnBzIHz、2CnBzTHz的系列屬於盤型(discotic)的液晶相。化合物1CnBzOHz 的系列屬於層型的液晶相。
    Four series of oxalyl-hydrazine derivatives (1CnBzOHz, 2CnBzOHz, 2CnBzIHz and 2CnBzTHz) were synthesized by coupling of organic acid chloride and hydrazine. Alkyl groups with various chains lengths (10, 12, 14, 16) were used as terminal groups to core moiety.

    The molecular structure and purity of these new compounds have been verified by elemental analysis and spectrometer. Obtained compounds posses mesomorphic properties which were characterized by polarized optical microscopy (POM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and powder x-ray diffraction techniques. The 2CnBzOHz, 2CnBzIHz and 2CnBzTHz exhibited columnar mesophases and 1CnBzOHz exhibited smectic mesophases. The characteristic temperatures of the phase transitions were established. Theoretical calculation of molecular structure as well as packing model in liquid crystal phases were proposed.
