    Abstract: 在本論文中,我們討論以緊束縛模型描述受磁場影響的電子在方形晶格及石墨烯具有的蜂巢狀晶格裡,其能量與磁場的關係,即Hofstadter能譜。我們仔細研究了在不同邊界或不同大小的系統之情形,並且透過數值方法得到的結果,以簡單的解析模型來理解其與相關的Landau能階之間的關聯。
    We discussed in this thesis the tight-binding model description of electrons on the square lattice and, in particular, honeycomb lattice in graphene systems and focusing on the variation of the energy with magnetic field, namely, the Hofstadter spectrum. We studied in detail the situations with different boundary conditions or lattice sizes. And we applied simple analytic model of the associated Landau levels to understand the results obtained numerically.
