    Abstract: 本研究以台灣地區資訊安全入侵防禦系統(Intrusion Prevention System,IPS)產業發展現況,來探索該產業之競爭策略,目的是希望藉由IPS產業在Porter五力模型及產業價值鏈模型之探討,分析出國內IPS廠商在未來發展上所採取的競爭策略,並期望透過本研究的整理分析,能夠提供有用的知識給予資訊安全領域中之IPS廠商參考,並對國內IPS產業的發展有所助益。
    This study invades the present situation of industry development of system of defence (Intrusion Prevention System, IPS) with the information safety of Taiwan, to explore domestic IPS industry competitive strategy, the purpose is to hope with the discussion in Porter five strength models and industry''s value chain models of IPS industry, analyse the competitive strategy which IPS manufacturer adopts in the development in the future while going abroad, and expect to analyse through the arrangement of this research , can offer useful knowledge to consult IPS manufacturer in a field of the information safety, and do some good to development of domestic IPS industry.

    This study is to take the exploratory research way, probe into through domestic and international relevant documents and MIC, IDC, isecutech for the relevant industry''s research paper and magazine periodical, the market, development trend and government policy on IPS industry assess the deep industry environment. This research contents are mainly to match IPS industry environment to assess with five strength models and industry''s value chains of Porter, probe into out the successful factor of key and domestic IPS manufacturer''s competition advantage and inferior position of IPS industry, and then sum up ten tactics to propose for domestic IPS manufacturer:

    1.Continuously maintain the price function of the advantage the most than (Cost/Performance, C/P).

    2.Reduce the ABC of grade of products and buy the threshold, expand the marketing scale of the market rapidly, in order to obtain economic scale of the follow-up database maintenance service.

    3.Function IPS products that a generation of compounds under researching and developing and including SCM/UTM and unifying more.

    4.With the foreign products difference, the district does not become followers through the market.

    5.Seek to expand the global firm of SI factory and sell the channel actively with win-win commercial way of SI manufacturer.

    6.Set up education and training and authenticating examination successful experience at home, and seek the foreign tactics partner and popularize the educational training program.

    7.Seek with visiting manufacturer''s cooperation from head to foot, solve the necessary stock of marketing and test the turnover problem together.

    8.Expand the scope of the enterprise, put into resources actively, obtain every international authentication, and setup brand awareness.

    9.Consolidate the base area of domestic market, expand the international market actively.

    10.Seek to design manufacturer''s strategic alliance with the domestic chip, grasp the key spare part.
