本文以民國八十三年至民國八十七年期間內台灣地區銀行業之月資料實證研究銀行間之策略關聯性。實證結果發現，第一銀行、台灣銀行和全體新銀行與其餘銀行的產出間互為策略性互補；而彰化銀行、華南銀行、合作金庫、台灣中小企銀和中國信託商業銀行則與其餘銀行的產出間互為策略性替代。此外，第一銀行對台灣銀行、台灣銀行對第一銀行、台灣銀行對全體新銀行，以及全體新銀行對台灣銀行彼此間的產出具有策略互補性；而第一銀行對全體新銀行以及全體新銀行對第一銀行銀行間的產出則具有策略替代性。 This thesis utilizes monthly data covering the period from 1994 to 1998 to examine the strategic interaction in banking industry of Taiwan. The estimated results have shown that First Bank, Bank of Taiwan and all the new banks regard their products as a strategic complement to the rest of banks. However, Chang Haw Bank, Hua Nan Bank, Taiwan Cooperative Bank, Taiwan Business Bank and Chinatrust Commercial Bank regard their products as a strategic substitute to the rest of banks. Moreover, the product of First Bank to Bank of Taiwan, Bank of Taiwan to First Bank, Bank of Taiwan to all the new banks and all the new banks to Bank of Taiwan have strategic complement between each other. However, the product of First Bank to all the new banks and all the new banks to First Bank have strategic substitute between each other.
