Abstract:	光電產業是台灣科技產業的指標，2005 年光電產業產值已突破一兆。而其中的光儲存產業中 DVD 光碟片的產值仍高居台灣產值的前十名, 且台灣所生產之 DVD光碟片的市佔率佔全球第一, 無疑更揭示其在我國產業發展的指標地位。本研究以2005年為時間中心軸, 蒐集近年的資料以五力分析及 SWOT 分析進行產業分析及探討台灣DVD 記錄型產業之經營概況、產業結構與產業競爭優勢，並提供此產業最近發展情形。光碟產業具有相當多不確定因素，如何在需求、產業結構環境與技術三大變量中取得機會為台灣廠商經營所面臨之重大挑戰。台灣光碟產業發展趨向大者恆大, 憑藉台灣已是全世界最大光碟片生產地, 在現今的 DVD 生產優勢下，台灣應加強技術移轉平台以加速技術引進與提昇，在製程技術創新與提昇品質服務下可形成產業競爭優勢。關鍵字：產業分析、競爭優勢、產業結構 Optical industry has reached NT$1,000 billions and plays a very important role for Taiwan’s high technology industry in year 2005. However, the DVD disc business is still created top 10 of the export value in Optical industrial, and Taiwan is the number one market share of discs production in the world. There is no doubt how importation for the future of Optical industrial in Taiwan. This study collect the past few years data, and base on the market information of year 2005, and using Five Forces model and SWOT analysis to investigates the current status, industrial structure and competitive advantage of Taiwan Optical Data Storage industry. Optical Data Storage faces many uncertainties so far. Taiwan manufacturers need to find a way to comply the variations in market demand, industrial structure and technology innovation. However, Taiwan media manufacturers have much more competitive advantage over others country, the fact with the potential market need to develop technology platform and organize R&D alliance to enhance the technology innovation.
