在台灣產業發展過程中，電子產業為帶動台灣經濟成長的一項重要產業，因此本文的目的為探討台灣電子產業的成長肇因。本研究先行介紹台灣電子產業之發展歷程，再透過Hsu(2007)產業成長來源分解公式，從計算結果中找出1964-2004年間台灣電子產業之主要成長來源，其結果發現出口擴張為主要之成長肇因，其次為進口作為中間需求的變動；另外由進口替代可發現到台灣電子產業的進口替代進程已由最終需求之進口替代，轉變為中間需求之進口替代為主。 In Taiwan industrial development process, Electronic Industry is an important industry lead Taiwan economic growth. Therefore, this thesis goal is discuss the growth cause which Taiwan Electronics Industry. This research introduced in advance of development process Taiwan Electronics Industry, and use Hsu(2007) industry growth decomposition, find out the main growth causes of Taiwan Electronics Industry during 1964-2004 year, The result is showing that the export expansion for the main growth cause, next is imports for intermediate; moreover, from the import substitution of Taiwan Electronics Industry developing process, there is something different: It’s turning import substitution for imported after 1990 from import substitution for final demand before 1990.
