    Abstract: 目前國內小學圖書館在人力資源嚴重不足的情況下,積極引進志工資源,為了讓志工有效協助小學圖書館的運作,必須給予適當的專業訓練,提昇圖書館專業服務績效,達到協助教學與學習資源提供之目的。本研究旨在探討圖書志工支援國小圖書館館務時所欠缺的知能,以作為小學圖書志工培訓課程規劃的參考。
    本研究以臺北市小學圖書館為研究對象,採用問卷調查法,抽取臺北市24所小學圖書館共239位圖書志工作為樣本,進行調查。根據調查結果,本研究之結論如下:一、圖書志工支援圖書館員的工作項目共有11項。二、圖書志工應具備33項知能。三、目前圖書志工最缺乏的知能為電腦素養與網路素養。四、圖書志工知能培訓需求最高者為網路素養,次為電腦素養。五、圖書志工能有效支援傳統小學圖書館的服務。六、圖書志工具培訓價值。
    根據研究結論,研究者提出以下建議:
    一、就小學圖書館方面:
    (一)提升小學圖書館負責人的專業能力。
    (二)進行圖書志工分組。
    (三)落實圖書志工培訓。
    二、就圖書志工培訓方面:
    (一)加強圖書志工電腦素養、網路素養與實施圖書館利用教育教學能力知能。(二)培訓課程進行方式應配合學習內容。
    (三)依圖書志工具備知能程度分級實施培訓課程。
    (四)頒發正式結訓證書。
    (五)學校聯合辦理志工培訓,節省培訓經費。
    三、就未來相關研究方面:
    (一)進行志工培訓課程規劃與實施之研究。
    (二)進行其他縣市圖書志工之訓練需求評估。
    Elementary school library is in a situation of insufficiency of manpower at present. Because of insufficiency of manpower, elementary school library has recruited volunteers to assist library affairs. In order to let volunteers help library more effectively, elementary school library must provide special training for volunteers. The purpose of this study is to find competencies which volunteers lack of when they work in the school library. These competencies are the key point of volunteers training.
    The method of this study is investigation of questionnaire. The samples of this study are 239 volunteers from 24 elementary school libraries in Taipei. According to literature review and investigation , the study indicated six conclusions: (1)There are eleven jobs volunteers of elementary school library have to administer to librarians. (2)Volunteers of elementary school library must have 33 competencies.(3)Volunteers of elementary school library lack of competencies of computer literacy and internet literacy at present. (4)For volunteers of elementary school library, the most important training needs are competencies of internet literacy, and secondary training needs are competencies of computer literacy. (5)Volunteers of elementary school library can help traditional library affairs effectively.( 6)The training of volunteers of elementary school library is worthy.
    Based on the results of the study, the following recommendations were proposed:
    1.To elementary school library: (1)promotion school librarians’ specialized ability, (2)grouping volunteers of elementary school library, (3)actualizing special training for volunteers .
    2.To special training for volunteers: (1)strengthening volunteers’ competencies of computer literacy, internet literacy and library use education, (2)training ways must match up training content, (3)according to volunteers’ ability implementing special training, (4)awarding training certificate to volunteers, (5)schools could hold volunteer training together to save training expense.
    3.To future researches, (1) designing training curriculum and implementation, (2) implementing volunteers’ training needs assessment to other counties.
