The main purpose of this study was to understand the relationships between needs and learning satisfaction when the nursing staffs received the nursing adult education in Taoyuan County.
This study was conducted by means of questionnaires and
statistical data. With compiling the different statistical data, analyzing the needs and learning satisfaction among variables due to individuals in nursing adult education.
This study focus on nursing staffs who were on professional training in Taoyuan medical organizations or persons who were in-service training for a advanced degree. The questionnaire, a research tool, is called “Questionnaire for nursing staffs in the relationships between needs and learning satisfaction of nursing adult education ”. The researcher delivered 1150 questionnaires while 952 returned with 762 valid ones that stand for 66.26％. All data were processed by the sociological science statistical program SPSS,Chinese version. The information were followed by the analysis methods : descriptive statistics, Pearson''s product-moment correlation,single variable analysis,t-test , Scheffe''s posterior comparisons. The results are as followed:
1. The way to engage in advanced studies which nurses need is “ in-service degree studies ”.
2. Nurses who have discrepancies on the needs of adult education are different on ages, positions, marital status, income and hospital grade in Taoyuan.
3. Nurses who have discrepancies on the learning satisfaction of adult education are different on ages, positions, marital status, income and hospital grade in Taoyuan.
4. The higher need of adult education which nurses have, the more learning satisfaction they get in Taoyuan .
The results of this study were intended to be used as references for improving the nursing adult education , teaching training and upgrading the quality of medical organizations.
