為達上述研究目的，本研究採用問卷調查法與訪談法進行研究。正式施測有效樣本282位，資料經整理後以SPSS10.0 for Windows 統計套裝軟體進行描述統計分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析等統計分析。歸納主要研究發現，本研究獲致結論如下：
This research aimed at probing into Junior High School teachers’ willingness and determinants of participating school administrative work. There were four objectives of this research. First, to understand the willingness of teachers to participate school administrative work at present. Second, to analyze determinants of teachers to participate school administrative work. Third, to explore teachers’ difficulties when they are taking charge of school administrative work .Fourth, to propose suggestions based on findings of this research to school and educational administrative authorities to enhance teachers’ willingness to participate school administrative work..
The methods applied for this research were questionnaire survey and interview. The sample was 282 Junior High School teachers in Hsin Chu City and the data were collected and analyzed by using SPSS10.0 for Windows program. The statistical analyses included descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and come out with conclusions as follows:
First, the willingness of Junior High School teachers to participate school administrative work was at intermediate level.
Second, there were significant differences in willingness of teachers to participate school administrative work by “sex”, “age”, “education background”, “designated duties”, “teaching years”, “administrative experience” and “school scale”.
Third, the determinants of teachers to participate school administrative work included social support, organization culture, characteristics of work, healthy and family.
Fourth, the difficulties of teachers to take school administrative work were overloaded work and work stress.
According to conclusions mentioned above , this research proposed some suggestions to school and educational administrative authorities and school teachers to enhance teachers’ willingness to participate school administrative work.
