關鍵字:國民小學學校志工、參與動機、工作投入 Abstract: This study aimed to explore the relationship between elementary school volunteers’ motivation and job involvement in Taipei County. Questionnaires assessing school volunteers’ motivation and job involvement were completed by 529 volunteers from 203 elementary schools in Taipei County. Findings of the study were as follow: 1. Most of the elementary school volunteers reported a medium-high degree of motivation. 2. Most of the elementary school volunteers reported a medium-high degree of job involvement. 3. There were significant differences in school volunteers’ motivation based on level of education, weekly service hours, and types of volunteer work. 4. There were significant differences in school volunteers’ job involvement based on weekly service hours, types of volunteer work, and whether or not their family members were enrolled in schools. 5. School volunteers’ motivation and job involvement were highly correlated. The study concluded with several suggestions for improving school volunteers’ motivation and job involvement in elementary schools in Taipei County.
