    Title: 我國大學校長服務型領導與全面品質管理關係之研究

    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討我國大學校長服務型領導與全面品質管理之關係,以作為我國大學校長領導之參考依據。
    本研究採用問卷調查法,主要以「我國大學校長服務型領導暨全面品質管理調查問卷」為自編問卷,並以我國159大學校院校長為研究對象進行問卷調查。發出問卷159份,回收有效問卷125份,問卷回收率為83%。調查所蒐集之資料以描述性統計典型相關統計法分析後,主要的研究發現如下:
    ㄧ、我國大學校長服務型領導現況
    (一)整體而言,我國大學校長具備服務型領導的各面向內涵。
    (二) 大學校長服務型領導同意程度依序為「正直」、「謙虛」、「共享決策」、「願景」、「關懷他人」、「服務精神」、「設定目標」、「領導」、「建立團隊」、「賦權增能」、「幫助他人發展」以及「作為楷模」。
    二、我國大學校長全面品質管理現況
    (一) 整體觀之,我國大學校長同意全面品質管理的各面向內涵。
    (二) 大學校長全面品質管理同意程度依序為「品質至上」、「主管承諾」、「顧客導向」、「教育訓練」、「全面參與」以及「資料本位」。因此歸結我國大學校長同意上述七項全面品質管理面向。
    三、我國大學校長服務型領導與全面品質管理之關係
    (一) 經由典型相關方法分析得知我國大學校長服務型領導與全面品質管理之相關係數為.85,顯示我國大學校長服務型領導與全面品質管理之間呈現高度正相關。
    (二) 十二項服務型領導內涵與整體服務型領導呈現高度之正相關,可見此十二個變項為服務型領導之重要內涵。
    (三) 七項全面品質管理內涵與整體全面品質管理呈現高度之正相關,可見此七個變項為全面品質管理之重要內涵。
    本研究最後根據文獻探討與研究結論,提出具體建議以供大學校長及未來研究之參考。

    The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between servant leadership and total quality management for university presidents in Taiwan.
    The survey instrument was a questionnaire titled “Servant Leadership and Total Quality Management Questionnaire for University Presidents in Taiwan ”. The samples were drawn from 159 targets of School of university presidents in Taiwan(with 83% response rate). The data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics and canonical correlation.
    Therefore, the findings of the study are described as below:
    1. The condition of servant leadership for university presidents in Taiwan:
    1.1 On the whole, university presidents in Taiwan fitted for the twelve points of servant leadership.
    1.2 The degree of “ integrity” ranked the highest;The degree of “modelling” ranked the lowest.
    2.The condition of total quality management for university presidents in Taiwan:
    2.1 On the whole, university presidents in Taiwan fit for the seven points of total quality managent.
    2.2 The degree of “quality” ranked the highest;The degree of “facts-based” ranked the lowest..
    3.The relationship of servant leadership and total quality management for university presidents in Taiwan:
    3.1 The canonical correlation between servant leadership and total quality management in Taiwan is .85, the result referred that the relationship between servant leadership and total quality management is significant.
    3.2 The relationship between the twelve points of servant leadership and the whole servant leadership is significant.

    3.3 The relationship between the seven points of total quality management and the whole servant leadership is significant.

    Based on the above findings, the study concluded with some practical implications for university presidents, school and the future investigators in this field.
