    Abstract: 本研究以臺北縣市公立完全中學處室主任共120人為研究對象,以問卷調查及訪談探討完全中學處室主任的角色知覺與領導行為。
    在本研究中,角色知覺包含處室領導者、校長幕僚者、溝通協調者及計畫督導者等四種角色;而領導行為則包含權變領導、轉型領導、交易領導、服務領導與道德領導等五種領導行為。
    根據研究發現,歸納下列幾項結論:
    一、完全中學處室主任對於其職務的整體角色具有高度認同,相當看重自己的職務。
    二、完全中學處室主任的角色知覺以溝通協調者最高,其次為處室領導者、計畫督導者及校長幕僚者。
    三、完全中學處室主任的角色知覺在性別、年齡、現任職務與學校所在地等四個背景變項中具有顯著差異。
    四、完全中學處室主任對於自己的領導行為具有高度信心,相當肯定自己的行為表現。
    五、完全中學處室主任的領導行為以服務領導表現最好,其次為轉型領導、權變領導、交易領導及道德領導。
    六、完全中學處室主任的領導行為在任職年資、現任職務、學校規模、學校地理位置與學校所在地五個背景變項中具有顯著差異。
    七、完全中學處室主任的角色知覺與領導行為有顯著正相關。
    八、完全中學處室主任有機會願意轉任純高中或純國中之處室主任。
    依據上述研究結論,本研究對教育行政機關、完全中學、處室主任及後續研究者提供若干建議。
    This study aimed to explore role perceptions and leadership behaviors of section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City. Subjects were 120 section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City. A questionnaire survey as well as an interview was administered to collect data for analysis.
    Based on findings of this study, the following conclusions were synthesized:
    1. The section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City have high scored role perceptions.
    2. The most significant role perceived by section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City is the role as Communicator and Coordinator.
    3. There are significant differences in role perceptions among the varieties of background variables of the section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City.
    4. The leadership behaviors of the section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City are multi-facetted, including servant leadership, transformational leadership, contingent leadership, transactional leadership and moral leadership, and servant leadership is the most significant one.
    5. There are significant differences in leadership behaviors among the varieties of background variables of the section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City.
    6. There are significant positive correlations between role perceptions and leadership behaviors of the section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City
    7. Section directors of Public Six-Year High Schools in Taipei County and Taipei City prefer to an administrative position in Three-Year Senior High Schools or Three-Year Junior High Schools.
    According to conclusions mentioned above, this study proposed some suggestions for educational administrative authorities, school authorities and administrative staffs in Public Six-Year High Schools as well as researcher of further studies.
