    Abstract: 在日本,「心靈的教育改革」雖倡導已久,青少年與其置身的整個社會環境存在著嚴重的問題。日本教育界傾全力推動「心靈的教育改革」的同時,如在背地竊笑般地,與之背道而馳的社會現象及事件卻層出不窮。在「心靈的教育改革」中担任重要角色的道德教育如何對應,是為日本人當前的重要課題。
    本研究並不對此直接提出解答,而是探討有關問題解答所不可或缺的道德教育基本問題。
    本論文研究主旨有三;一為誠實地反映並探討日本社會當前有關道德的各種問題及現象,其次是探討道德的本質及真相,最後是藉由瞭解日本道德教育歷史發展,尋求未來道德教育的方向。
    因此,藉由以下章節的安排來達成上述研究目標。首先是序論‧先行研究,接著詳述戰前至戰後道德教育發展的歷史及「學習指導要領」與道德教育實施狀況,最後探討有關的各種問題及未來課題。
    Even though the so called" Heart and Soul Revolution" has been promoted in Japan for decades, the teenagers in this society exist a very serious problem. It is ironic to see the society is full of absurd norms and incidents while the so called "Heart and Soul Revolution" has been advocated full force in the Japanese administration .

    The following study is not going to provide a direct answer to this norm in Japan however is going to discuss in depth of the moral education in the society. There are three main themes in this study; firstly is to reflect the problems and norms of immorality in the society. Secondly is to explore the truth and the essential qualities of morality. Thirdly is to seek the future education direction by analyzing the history development in morality.

    The preface will cover the moral education development before World War II and after, together with the practice of the government curriculum guidelines and the further discussion of the prevailing problems in the society.
