    Abstract: 本論文主要探討中國在逐漸擺脫傳統西發利亞體系的國家主權觀後如何去自行調適以及與國際社會接軌,並且討論最終是什麼原因讓中國從原本排斥與害怕國際社會而轉變成對國際社會的接納,甚至明確表達在其未來的對外行為政策中主要方向之一就是要積極參與多邊外交活動,充分發揮在聯合國以及其他國際組織中的作用。

    以上述論點為基礎,筆者選定中國近年積極參與聯合國維和行動作為探討此一主題的切入點,並輔以三項研究途徑,分別為國際建制三大學派觀點、維和行動本身的質變以及中國內部的國際戰略之形成,試圖解釋中國態度轉變之原因。本論文也將整理出中國在參與維和行動中,包含實際參與行為以及投票行為兩大部分,逐漸轉變其態度過程間所代表的意義。總而言之,筆者以國際環境的變化為基礎,並選定中國參與聯合國維和行動為例,在本論文中欲達到的研究目的有:
    了解中國由過去至今參與國際建制與聯合國的歷程;
    了解中國參與聯合國維和行動之過程,及其在參與過程中的行為與態度轉變;
    解釋中國參與維和行動過程中行為與態度轉變之原因;
    以理論、內外部等因素來分析中國參與維和行動過程中,行為及態度轉變的根本考量。
    The purpose of this thesis is to discuss how China, after gradually forsaking the traditional Westphalian System, accommodates itself and connects with the international community. This thesis attempts to discuss the dynamics of the change; namely, what makes China, in contrast to its former stance of rejecting and fearing international community, accept the norms of the international community. In addition, the thesis considers how the country’s acceptance so as to join multilateral activities, as well as to enlarge the function of the UN and other international organizations, becomes its main foreign policy guideline.
    Taking the aforesaid as the basis, this thesis focuses on what China has done in regard to the United Nation Peacekeeping Operations in recent years. This thesis also tries to illustrate China’s changing stance by examining it from three perspectives—three contending contents from International Regime Theory, the essential shift of the UN Peacekeeping Operations, and the making of China’s international strategic policies. There will also be some assorted information about China’s actual involvement and voting behaviors which demonstrate the implications of its shifting position. The purposes of this thesis are as follow:

    to know the progress of China’s participation in international regimes and the UN;
    to know the progress of China’s participation in the Peacekeeping Operations with its changing behavior and stance;
    to explain China’s changing behavior and position;
    to analyze China’s basic consideration in such a transformation with three perspectives.
