    Abstract: 一九九八年,西班牙女導演比拉.妲瓦拉(Pilar Távora)完成了在西班牙南部安達魯西亞(Andalucía)拍攝的文學電影《葉瑪》。電影中導演大量運用影視藝術來創造象徵,並用她個人的美學技巧來詮釋羅卡的悲劇作品。本論文以文化面向來解讀電影作品中的象徵意涵,並輔以科學化的符號理論作為理性的象徵思維,透過電影的象徵藝術研究,將電影語言的暗示本性突顯出來,也強化電影作品的中心情感及思想。
    In 1998, the Spanish female director Pilar Távora has completed the literature movie “Yerma” in Andalucía. In the movie the director massively creates the symbol with her esthetic skills interpreting the well known tragedy work of García Lorca. The thesis mainly focus on the symbolic art applied by director and reveals the central emotion and thought of her cinematographic work.
