    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討我國大學學位學程課程設計之研究,並以美國四所大學作為參照,主要之研究目的有五:一、探討大學學位學程制度的理念與內涵;二、瞭解美國大學學程制度的課程設計;三、探討我國96學年度大學學位學程課程設計;四、分析比較美國與我國大學學程制度的課程設計之異同;五、提出我國大學學位學程制度未來課程設計與發展的方向與建議。
    本研究首先透過網路資源著手蒐集美國哈佛大學、芝加哥大學、史丹佛大學、麻省理工學院與我國96學年度大學學位學程課程制度之相關文件與資料,藉由文件資料的蒐集、整理與分析,並透過比較教育研究法分析比較美國與我國大學學位學程課程設計之異同。
    最後,根據研究分析之結果與研究發現,歸納出以下結論:
    一、學程制在美國大學課程中早已行之多年,而在我國學位學程制則是近年來大學課程的改革重點。
    二、學位學程課程目標方面,美國大學的學位學程課程理念在於培養學生知識的深度及廣度,我國則是以培育未來產業所需之跨領域專業人材為主。
    三、學位學程學制安排方面,美國大學主要是以「跨院、系」為主,我國則是以「學院」作為推動學位學程以及招生的單位。
    四、學位學程課程架構與學分數比例方面,美國大學重著於學生專業與通識之平衡發展,我國較偏向於培養學生實用技術能力為主。
    五、學位學程課程相關配套措施方面,美國主要是以學生的學習與輔導為主,我國則偏向於學生專業能力的培養。
    This study was conducted to investigate the curriculum design of undergraduate program in Taiwan, and articulation with four universities in America. There were five major purposes of this study: (1) To investigate the ideas and connotations of undergraduate program; (2) To understand the curriculum design of undergraduate program in America; (3) To investigate the curriculum design of undergraduate program in Taiwan in 2007; (4) To analyze and compare the differences on curriculum design of undergraduate program between Taiwan and America; (5) To provide recommendations to promote the curriculum design of undergraduate program in Taiwan.
    This study combined with two research methods including documentary analysis and comparative research. Through the document analysis, and use comparative research method to compare the differences on curriculum design of undergraduate program between Taiwan and America.
    Based on the research results, the major conclusions of this study were:
    1.The undergraduate program in America has worked for many years. In recent years, the arrangement of undergraduate program was becoming the critical reform of undergraduate curriculum in Taiwan.
    2.In America, the purpose of undergraduate program is designed to achieve balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge gained through exploration. In Taiwan, the purpose of undergraduate program is designed to provide the students with learning experiences of interdiscipline.
    3.In America, the practice of undergraduate program is based on general education. In Taiwan, the practice of undergraduate program is based on faculty.
    4.As to the curriculum framework and credit ratio, the undergraduate programs in America were focus on the students’ balance development between professional and general education. In Taiwan, the curriculum framework and credit ratio of undergraduate program were tend to cultivate the students’ practical skills.
    5.As to the relative measures, the undergraduate programs in America were based on the students’ learning and counseling. In Taiwan, the relative measures of undergraduate program were tend to cultivate students’ profession skills.
