Translation involves not only two languages but also cultures. Some words or phrases may be codable in another language. Some other words or phrases are incodable. Codability and incodability depend on word property in both languages and morphological development in its source and target languages, and cultural elements. All these rules in codability and incodability give us clues in teaching English as a foreign language.
