    Title: The phase transition of cubic for tetragonal superconductor for a two-fold degenerate electronic band

    Abstract: The Phase Transition between the cubic superconductors and the tetragonal superconductors for intermetalic compounds induced by the degenerate d electrons in the T2g-band is discussed. The critical temperature T, is calculated by using the BCS mean field theory. It is found that T, increases as the energy gap A decreases and that T,attains its maximum value for gapless superconductors.
