Abstract: The vortex-pair production and nonlinear flux-flow resistivity have been calculated in superconducting thin films with randomly distributed weak pinning sites for temperature below the Berezinsky–Kosterlitz–Thouless transition. It is interesting to note that the random average of the collective pinning potential enhances the vortex-pair production, however, the strength of the random correlation of the potential suppresses it. The results agree with those obtained currently when the collective pinning is neglected.
