    Abstract: Cross-spectral density function and Fresnel diffraction are used to derive the intensity distribution on a finite-distance observation plane in Lau interferometer for the case that a 2-D grating is rotated through an angle θ with respect to another 2-D grating. Experimental results will also be shown to compare with the theoretical analysis.
