    Abstract: Because the public demands for teaching quality in higher education and the competition among more and more new universities, higher education institutions are inevitably having to take actions to respond to public concerns about the quality of teaching. Faculty development has pointed out a good way to fulfill these demands. This article presents different views about content prospects of faculty development, and shows some examples of promotion in Higher education.
