    Abstract: 本研究目的為建立起一個適合國小兒童使用的網路學習環境紅樹林主國: (網址為http://mangrove.et.tku.edu.tw) ,並期能達成以下目標(1)提供適合國小高年級兒童年齡及學習特質的「紅樹林的自然生態j 網路學習社群(2)提供問題解決為主之相閥的學習內容與活動,充實兒童有闖紅樹林的自然生態相關知識(含:紅樹林生物的生存環境、紅樹林常見的生物介紹及食物鏈、環搗污染與保育等);(3)提供台灣四地(淚水闢渡平原、桃竹苗、嘉南、高屏區)紅樹林之資源,培養兒童關懷本土紅樹林自然生態之分怖與發展(4)訓練兒童在網路環境中查找資料及分析資料的能力。
    The purpose of this study is to construct a web-based instruction on Nature Science for elementary students. The topics focus on the planets and creatures living in Mangrove Areas (紅樹林), such as Kandelia candel (水筆仔), crabs, water birds and fishes as well as the phenomena of food chains. There are four objectives to be achieved in is study as follows:
    (1) To provide a web-based instruction on studying the living creatures in Mangrove Area for elementary students. (2) To promote students' problem-solving skills through problem-based activities. (3) To building up a leaming community with on- line experts and special interest groups on the related topics. (4) To prepare students in acquiring the abilities of searching, analyzing and presenting information.
