Abstract:	受到全球經濟不景氣影響，許多先進國家政府亦面臨財政短絀的窘境，不但波及政府對高等教育之經費挹注，更導致各大學面臨前所未有的經營危機。為解決此等由預算緊縮所引起的教育問題，各國政府莫不積極推動高等教育財政改革，其中英美二國由於大學辦學績效卓越，故其改革政策亦經費成為國際社會之關注焦點與學習對象。基於此，以英美高等教育財政改革之經驗為鑑，藉此彌補我國教月政策之不足，似乎亦成為當前我國高等教育發展重要課題之一。本文首先介紹英美二國高等教育財政改革之背景；其次分析英美高等教育財政改革之特色；最後則參酌英美高等教育財政改革經費對我國高等教育財政改革現況提出幾點省思。
