Abstract:	本文主要是針對在追求卓越發展口號下，台海兩岸近年來的高等教育政策進行檢視。探討的重點包括學術卓越的概念，及檢視台海兩岸高等教育政策的重要改革，在台灣地區以教育部於1998 年所提之「大學學術追求卓越發展計畫」為主；在中國大陸則以其「建設世界一流大學、高水平大學」的政策為主。最後，本文亦嘗試針對台海兩岸高等教育相關之政策，進行歸納比較。
