Abstract:	本論文係作者在淡江大學從事通識教育改革，推動核心課程方案，實際建構組織制度並執行任務之所思、所見、所行的記述。內容主要包括五個部份，一是簡述她對通識教育與核心課程的體認，其次是介紹有關推動核心課程方案的理念、組織、開課審查、選課制度、教學評量功能、鼓勵教科書的編撰、各項溝通活動，以及所觀察到的氣氛與情勢轉變。第三部份是陳述改革過程所遭逢的各種問題及解決方法，包括組織、課程規劃、選課排課等。第四則舉兩個學門課程規劃的實施與問題的實例。最後則期待持績努力做各項準備工作以邁向全面開放選修的近期目標。
