    Abstract: 宋之後森林成私有而導致加速被硬壤，會田、梯田、帶回等耕作方法致使中原與江洛區域的森林受到嚴重破壞。皇家為了建築宮室使用大量木材，將深山中之巨木砍伐殆盡。然在砍伐之餘，宋代也有陳章、蔡襄等人提倡造林，並有預防外侮的國防林。
    與宋同時之途、金兩朝版圖大半在中厚、之北，並非水草豐美之域，然兩朝君王並非聽任其治下之民任意逐水草居，而有相當不錯之祟蠶、植樹、護堤等農林業政策。
