    Abstract: 我國森林在三代以前甚為完整，秦漢之後逐漸被破壞。農墾是最主要的破壞因素，焚林造田與用畲田、梯田等墾殖方式以及政府在荒年時弛山林之禁的救急政策，使中原與江淮區域的森林受到嚴重破壞。皇家為了建築宮室使用大量木材，將深山中之巨木砍伐殆盡。另外戰爭的過程也對森林造成相當的破壞。
