    Title: The Study of Steric Effect on the Magnetic Interaction between Two Metal Ions in a Binuclear Complex

    Abstract: Complexes of cupric ion with N,N′-bis(2-pyridylethyl)-oxamide, prepare from2-(aminoethyl)pyridine and diethyloxalate, and pyridine derivatives have been synthesized and characterized by elementary analysis, i.r. spectra, u.v. spectra, magnetic susceptibility, and electric conductivity measurements. Existance of magnetic interaction between cupric ion could be recognized. Magnetic interaction may be affected by the pyridine derivatives.
