    Abstract: Extraction of chromium(VI) at pH 2—12 with thiosemicarbazide into methyl isobutyl ketone is described. The detection limit is 30 ng ml-1, and the concentration which gives 1% absorbance is 60 ng ml-1, when the organic phase is used directly.
