Abstract:	近期Laband & Piette(1994)續Liebowitz & Palmer(1984)，應用他們的方法，以「論文被引用次數」(citation)確認經濟期刊的相對影響。雖然Liebowitz & Palmer (1984)與Laband & Piette (1994)確實讓我們瞭解這些國際期刊的先後順位及其影響，經濟學者經常面臨的，特別是論及升等、續聘、誰表現較優……等情況時，比較關心的還是論文發表在頂尖的(Top Journal)、優良的(Excellent Journal)、頗具水準的(Good Journal)、或其他哪一等級的期刊群。鑑此，本文特利用Laband & Piette (1994)的結果，進一步嘗試將國外期刊分類為若干個組群, 裨益學者對這些期刊有進一步的瞭解。同時，本文應用「無母數統計理論」(Nonparametric Statistics Theory)的一些分析方法來探討上述排名之間的關係，及應用本文結果來檢視台灣經濟學者在此方面表現的進步與否。 Some nonparametric statistics methods are applied to analyze the properties of the relative impacts of economic journals presented by Laband and piette (1994) first, and thereby, international economic journals are grouped into four categories, namely, top, excellent, good and others journals. some applications of our results are presented.
