Abstract:	鑒於無線寬頻網路(WLAN)與智慧型運輸系統(ITS)之全球化發展趨勢，此兩者之結合，將可擴展用路人資訊系統之完整性。本文將探討台北市都市交通現場設備所需的通訊條件，進行與WLAN整合之功能需求與經濟可行性分析。重點內容包括：(1)台北市WLAN應用於ITS之相關內容；(2)探討ITS導入WLAN的功能和經濟可能性條件；(3)導入WLAN後，各現場設施可能的機制變化和結合其餘各項ITS 所能提供的新服務。
