隨著多國籍企業的增加,以及東方經濟實力在全球經濟體系中的強化,要將原有自西方的管理實踐中所獲得的管理技術或理論,移植到文化背景並不相同的東方文化體系時,造成許多障礙與不適用的情形發生。因此,如何暸解這種差異並且設法跨越此一文化鴻溝,成了許多管理學者努力的方向。人員甄選是組織要獲得人才的一項重要活動,而對於「人才」定義與甄選標準叉和其所處的文化環境習習相關。本研究針對根植於西方管理理論所發展的現代企業人員甄選方式與傳統中國選才方法中的「觀人」術作一比較。其比較的範圍由甄選標準、甄選內容、甄選方法等方面著手,結論並可作為現代人力甄選觀念與方法上的參考。 According to the increase of multinational business and the empowerment of oriental economics, the practitioners and researchers pay more attention on the cross-cultural management. It is not completely suitable while the management techniques and theory, which based on the western practices~ operated in the oriental. Therefore, researchers try to find out the difference and build a bridge to link these different culture systems. Personnel selection is an important activity while the organization want to obtain the proper employees. Personnel selection is a very culture-dependent management activity. To enlarge the selection methods of contemporary practice and to advise the Chinese managers and researchers, this paper compared the personnel selection activity, which include the selection criteria, methods, and context, of the contemporary business and the classic Chinese.
