    Abstract: 智能型運輸系統(Intelligent Transport Systems,ITS)的目標在于促進交通安全、減少擁擠、提高機動性、增進經濟生產力、減少環境污染、提升能源使用效率及帶動相關產業發展等。然而 ITS 將帶動運輸產業全面性的變革,因此欲使系統成功運作,并達預期效益,除了技術上的集成與創新之外,各方面的配合與適應,亦是成功的必要條件。本文的主旨,除了對 ITS 的架構做一闡釋外,在此全球產、官、學各界全力推動 ITS 之際,對於邁向 ITS 成功之路的條件做一規劃,以期收到事半功倍之效。
