This article develops an order-level inventory system for deteriorating items with a ramp type demand function of time. For generality, in this paper, we not only provide the solution procedure for the problem, but also enumerate two possible shortage models. The method is illustrated by two numerical examples, and sensitivity analysis of the optimal solution with respect to the parameters of the system is carried out. 本研究的目的在於發展一個退化性產品其需求率呈斜坡型的確定性存貨模式。 文中我們不僅提供此類問題的求解過程亦提出兩種可能發生缺貨情況之存貨模式。由實例可知，此模式可提供正確之存貨成本結構以供管理者使用，以達有效管理存貨之目的。
