Abstract: This paper investigates three research topics in military scenario training and implementation: (1) the functions what military scenarios can provide which can be implemented by training, and the knowledge content of military scenario training for specific procedure and tasks; (2) the appropriate architecture to develop military scenario training systems; (3) a system architecture that incorporates the function of scenario base, rule base, geographical database, and learning mechanism with geographical information systems to develop military scenario training. The prototype of proposed scenario training systems and an example of system functions is also presented. This research considers that the proposed system architecture would offer a potential alternative method in order to build military scenario training systems for the Taiwanese Army.
