Introduction: 本系於95學年度成立「高等教育研究所」，目標在培育具國際視野的高等教育政策規劃人才以及高教經營與管理專才。本所課程規劃，除側重高等教育的政策與制度議題外，並將高等教育的經營與管理列為重點發展項目。本所將採取理論與實務兼重之原則，聘請相關領域學術專業素養深厚及實務經驗豐富之學者任教，並擬透過高等教育實習課程之規劃，為研究生安排高教經營與管理實務經驗學習之機會或參與相關研究，以徹底落實理論與實務並重。97學年度高等教育研究所整併至教育政策與領導研究所，並分設兩組：「教育經營與管理組」及「高等教育組」。
With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Graduate Institute of Higher Education is set up in the 2006 academic year, and recruits 10 graduate students into the Master’s program in the first year.Courses for the Master’s program are divided into three parts: fundamental required courses, professional required courses, and professional elective courses. The professional elective courses are further divided into two sub-fields: Policy and System of Higher Education, Operation and Management of Higher Education.
