岩石破裂之音射源、位置與岩石材料內部缺陷之自然分佈有闕，每一音射位置意味著該處材料產生微裂隙，因此藉由岩石材料的音射源位置發展可問接了解岩石內部的微觀特性。此種破裂看似雜亂魚章，事實土仍舊可借助碎形理論尋找其自然現象規則。本研究以碎形理論中的叢集維度來解釋岩石破裂之音射源位置分佈'由於叢集維度可以反應音射源之相對疏密形況，故可由叢集維度值的變化暸解岩石內部之破裂過程。 Blasting technology, highly affected by geological condition, plays an important role on the excavation of rock tunnel. This paper reviews the blasting theory firstly, and figures out some significant parameters related geological condition with blasting design/result. Accordingly, a statistic approach with physically meaningful parameters is carried out to investigate the relationship between blasting vibration, attitudes of weak planes, blasting design factors and blasting results in details. Concerned with the blasting vibration, the strength of intact rock, ground water condition and number of joint sets are the major factors affecting the peak particle velocity. Regarding to overbreak, the considerable program in fractured rock blasting, the location of maximum overbreak is influenced by the apparent dip of schistosity, cleavage, joint and shear fractured zone. Among which the joint and shear fractured zone play significant relevance. Furthermore, the overbreak in weak rock is greater than moderate and strong strength rocks in case of similar competent situation. And the overbreak increases as the spacing of peripheral boreholes increasing for the similar strength factor.
