    Abstract: 本研究之目的,是在探討台灣地區大專排球運動員運動成就動機之現況。本文以參加八十九學年度大專排球聯賽第一、二級之男、女排球運動員,共計424人為研究對象,以「運動成就動機量表」為研究工具,利用單因子變異數分析的方法,研究不同性別及位置之大專排球運動員,運動成就動機得差異性。本研究經分析後獲得以下結論:(一)男姓大專排球運動員在整體德運動成就動機,與追求卓越和自我奮鬥兩個向度上,明顯優於女性大專排球運動員。(二)攻擊手在整體的運動成就動機,與工作目標和求勝意志二個向度上,明顯優於舉球員。
    The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of achievement motive among collegiate volleyball players in Taiwan. The 424 male and female participants were these who took part in the college volleyball competition of 2000-2001 season. And they were involved in the first or secondary levels. All participants responded to the Achievement Motive Test in Sport (AMTS). When using of factor analysis method. It revealed that there are four factors, task-orientation, victory-will, ego-orientation and volleyball players. The statistics were one-way ANOVA and Tukey follow-up test. Results showed that: (1) Males were significantly higher than females for achievement motive, and both of ego-orientation factor and self-realization factor (p<0.05). (2) The spikers were significantly higher than the setters for achievement motive, and both of task-orientation factor and victory-will factor (p<0.05).
