    Abstract: 無論政府組織、企業團體，甚而家族個人等，皆隨時在產生難以計數的文件，這些文件歷經時間焠鍊，並透過鑑定工作判別，具重要價值者則轉為檔案進入檔案館進行典藏；多年來，各種鑑定方法在不同的國家演變，為因應龐大產生之文件數量，檔案管理人員開始使用抽樣技術作為一種確定檔案價值的工具。本文特針對檔案抽樣鑑定進行概略性的探討，了解檔案抽樣的意義、方式與其所帶來之效益，介紹相關使用之案例，並提出一些在執行檔案抽樣時之建議與限制，以作為未來我國在檔案鑑定上之參考與依據。
