    Abstract: 文化典藏單位的整合已成為國際間的一個熱門話題，其中又以圖書館、檔案館與博物館三者討論最為廣泛。加拿大國家圖書館與檔案館雖僅為圖書館與檔案館二者之整合，然其特別之處在於該館除實體及人事行政等面向的整合外，更廢除原圖書館法與檔案法，另新成立「圖書館與檔案法(The Library and Archives of Canada Act)」，可謂全球少見之全方位整合案例。本文擬探究加拿大國家圖書館與檔案館沿革發展與目標，並了解該館之維護中心發展歷史與館藏發展範圍，從而做為其他單位實踐之參考。
