The article considers linguistic features of legal discourse based on the material of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. After reviewing the transcripts of the early 90s, the authors concluded that the Constitution has specific lexical-stylistic features that differ from other legal texts. There is also a large amount of foreign vocabulary.
