    Authors: Wang, Y. H.

Abstract: The study is a pilot study in which the researcher aimed to evaluate the developed game-based learning materials. The study invited 2 participants to use the learning materials, and learners' self-report data and eye-tracking data were collected for analysis. The research found that incorporating media elements and multiple-choice questions in the learning material helped learners comprehend the target content. Additionally, learners with different levels of game-based learning experience had varying perceptions of the game design. Furthermore, the differences in media design between figures and real environment scenes can be further explored. The paper also discusses the future work of the multi-phase study.
